Saturday, June 8th is National Get Outdoors Day and the U.S. Forest Service has announced that day-use fees at national parks will be waived on that day.
However, camping fees will remain in effect.
In our region, that includes:
Angelina National Forest
Boykin Springs, Caney Creek, and Townsend
Sabine National Forest
Haley’s Ferry, East Hamilton, Indian Mounds, Lakeview, Red Hill and Willow Oak
